The beginnings

Once upon a time in Transylvania, the land of legends and myths a group of friends met and decided to do something special that will last for generations. The story began in the fall of 2021 in the cozy town of Satu Mare, which in their native language means "The Big Village". This is where Ocodile was born - a brand for tots named by one of them.

Parenting, babysitting, and playing with kids were a huge part of their lives, so they decided to create functional products that would make those experiences safe, peaceful, and fun.

Who are they?

Calin and Cristina are the founders of Ocodile. They have 2 energetic boys: David and Andi
that always cheer up the atmosphere whenever they come to the office. Andi was one of
the first testers and critics of the Standing Tower.

Calin is the mastermind of the business
and likes to be up-to-date with everything and hates asymmetry. Cristina knows all things
accountancy and getting all products in time from the factory to the warehouse. She also likes to help design the products and all the artwork. Cristina functions
best after a coffee.

Julia is the heart of customer care and does a little copywriting here and there. Other part of her work is researching and developing new products. In her free time she tutors and plays with kids. She's a proud aunt of 9 (plus 2 due in the summer of 2026) beautiful nieces.

What are they all about?

Ocodile came to be because the team needed a new project, a new challenge and because they had so many willing “testers” in their midst. It started slow and small, but they hope to grow, meet their customers and create the products the parents need and want.

  • Best floor bed!

    Has been amazing for our 2 year old! She started climbing out of the crib at about 26 months old and we needed to get a new bed ASAP. We wanted one with a high weight limit so we didn’t have to worry when my husband and I would lay with her or her playing on it. Also has slats, so protects the mattress. Definitely recommend!

    This toddler tower is made very well and the materials are very high quality. There are three different levels that you can put the top platform so when your child gets taller you can just easily adjust the platform.

    We LOVE this for our 1 year old. He loves to be with me while I’m in the kitchen and this allows him to be confined and safe while eating a snack or playing with toys at the counter while I am cooking food etc. he loves that he can feel independent but I love that I know he’s safe!

    I got this floor bed frame for my 3 year old son who has been in a crib. This bed frame was easy to put together and the instructions were easy to follow (I also didnt have any screws or holes strip out while putting together). Once put together this bed is extremely sturdy and the wood feels like real wood.
