The bottom long rails are made of birch plywood, the slats are made of rubber wood while all the rest is solid pinewood.

Assembly

The product comes flat packed in a single 81" x 15" x 4.5" box. The hardware box contains all the needed tools and screws to mount the floor bed.

How to install

  • Step 1

    Headboard & Footboard

    Both these parts are mounted the same way. You can start with either one.

  • Step 2

    Side Rails

    Connect the long rails to the headboard and footboard.

  • Step 3

    Middle Guardrails

    Mount the rails to the middle posts and then attach the structure to the bed frame.

  • Step 4

    Slats

    Place the slats with the screw hole facing up. Insert the screws and tighten them.

Can this be used with an 8" mattress?

Yes, the floor bed can hold an 8" thick mattress, but it’s worth noting that mattress thickness affects the side protection. With a thicker mattress, the built-in guardrails will offer less protection to keep your child from rolling out.

Does it require a box spring or special mattress?

No, it doesn't. A regular twin size mattress will do. We recommend using a 6"-thick mattress.
